Will it cause any harm to my computers/electronic equipment or cause smoke damage of any kind ?
NO. It is non-toxic and will not stain or soil in anyway it can be ventilated by opening
windows and doors and will dissipate in around 45 minutes.

Can it be installed on any alarm system ?
YES. It is recommended that it is used in conjunction with a monitored alarm system and
the monitoring station is notified that you have SmokeStorm installed.

Will it work in the event of a power failure ?
YES. Smokestorm has battery backup.

Is it costly to run ?
NO. Once the unit has reached operating temperature (around 30-40Min.) it uses around the same amount of power as a heated towel rail.

Will SmokeStorm go off accidentally ?
NO. It is disabled when the alarm is unset.

Can SmokeStorm be blocked or covered by the intruder ?
NO. The Vapour is released at high pressure and quickly , It would be very unlikely the intruder would impead SmokeStorms performance.

Will it be mistaken for a real fire ?
Upon installation the emergency services will need to be notified that you have smoke security installed. The monitoring station will also assist in determining if it is a real fire or burglary, by the signals they have received.
